About
Cynthia Starke-Jones
Cynthia Starke-Jones is a proud Georgia native who grew up in Atlanta. She attended Margaret Fain Elementary School and Charles L. Harper High School. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University, a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix, and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University.
Cynthia is the fifth of seven children born to Andrew and Eunice Starke.
She is a devoted mother of two daughters, a proud grandmother of three grandsons, and a great-grandmother of two.
Cynthia is a retired educator from the Cobb County School District and continues to serve her community through her work even after retirement.
Cynthia is a small business owner and founder of Starke-Jones Individualized Education Program (IEP) Consultant. She specializes in collaborative solutions and strategic, student-centered planning.
She is an active member of Elizabeth Baptist Church and has a deep passion for advocacy and community service. Cynthia regularly volunteers with various organizations.
Her leadership and service extend across many organizations. She is a graduate of Paulding County Chamber Leadership Class and Georgia Win List Leadership Academy, a former board member and life member of the Georgia Parent Teacher Association, and member of the Georgia Association of Educators-Retired, National Education Association, League of Women Voters, NAACP, Red Hat Society, and Delta Psi Rho Sorority, Incorporated. She also serves as an ambassador for Little Free Library.
Cynthia remains committed to uplifting her community through service, leadership, and advocacy.
